KANGAROO BAY FIVE STAR HOTEL

Our iconic 5-Star Hotel at Kangaroo Bay will activate the bay and bring jobs and significant economic development to the local area. But more than that, it is a hotel which will create a sense of place and tell a story about the local area – from indigenous ownership and custodianship through to early European settlement and the maritime history of the Bay, to today’s producers and providores of the region. The ground floor of the hotel will feature weather-protected public space including for community meetings and events, while the top floor while feature a restaurant highlighting the “paddock to the plate” of the eastern shore region’s high-quality produce. This is a once in a generation opportunity for an iconic hotel to be built on the site.

Clarence Council are currently considering whether to allow us to lodge a Development Application for the hotel. This will enable our Plans to be assessed through the normal planning process, like any other proposal. Importantly, this process allows for significant community input and feedback.
